Dr. Matt Karnoupakis grew up in the Ohio Valley and is a 1998 graduate of Weir High School. He continued his education at West Virginia University where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and graduated as a University Honors Scholar and Magna Cum Laude in 2002.
Dr. Matt later received his DDS degree from WVU School of Dentistry in 2006. Following graduation Dr. Matt completed a one-year residency at Charleston Area Medical Center in 2007. From 2007 to 2014 he practiced in Morgantown, WV.
Dr. Matt is a member of the WV Dental Association, Wheeling District Dental Society, ADA, International Association of Dental Traumatology, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Matt met his wife Jennifer at WVU, while she was completing her Pharmacy degree. They have one daughter and are currently renovating a home in Wheeling. Besides spending time with family, Dr. Matt enjoys walking his dog, volunteering for his church, and is an avid reader.
